KEAM 2025 Rank List Released: John Shinoj Tops Engineering, Anakha Anil Leads Pharmacy
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, Kerala – July 1, 2025 – The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has officially released the KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical) 2025 rank list today, bringing an end to the anxious wait for thousands of aspiring students. The results, declared by Higher Education Minister R. Bindu, mark a crucial step in the admission process for various professional courses across the state.
John Shinoj from Ernakulam has secured the coveted first rank in the engineering stream, while Anakha Anil from Alappuzha has clinched the top position in the pharmacy stream. The rank lists are now accessible on the official CEE website, cee.kerala.gov.in, where candidates can log in using their application number and password to view and download their rank cards.
The KEAM 2025 entrance examinations were conducted from April 23 to April 29, 2025, with engineering exams held in various sessions and pharmacy exams also spread across multiple slots. The preparation of the rank list involved a meticulous normalization process, giving equal 50% weightage to both the KEAM entrance exam scores and the standardized Plus Two (Class 12) marks in relevant subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for engineering). This dual-weightage system aims to ensure fairness and a level playing field for students from different educational boards.
The release of the rank list was subject to a slight delay, attributed to a review by an expert committee on proposed changes to the rank calculation formula and administrative considerations such as the Nilambur by-election results. However, with the rank list now public, the focus shifts to the upcoming counselling process.
